Yeah, this video’s pretty funny, my sister showed it to me one day, and it’s a great parody of the emo “lifestyle” (if you can call it that). The way he types especially cracks me up.

One of my favorite Pearl Jam songs, if not my favorite one overall – one of their ballads, in a similar vein to Black, Immortality, Nothingman, and Off He Goes. From their second album, Vs. (1993), which is probably my second  favorite Pearl Jam album; it still retains the political and personal issues they addressed early on (depression, suicide, estrangement, alienation, police brutality, gun control, child abuse, emotional struggle, abortion). Later on, they moved on to some more experimental (and really out there) subject matter – being overran by bugs, sleeping in Satan’s bed, and a song with a little girl/boy talking about sex, drugs, and a mop? Yeah, weird stuff, but still fun to go along for the ride.
